Gather Deeper Prospect Profiles While Increasing Conversion Rates: There
are some questions that you only need to ask some of the time. But having all questions
on a form or survey (or having page refreshes) causes customer to abandon. 4Thought
solves this problem by creating or erasing appropriate or inappropriate questions
right while the form is being filled out, in real-time.
Take for example the question, “How satisfied are you with our product?.” If the
person answers “Very Satisfied” no further questions along this line may be needed.
However, if they answer “Unsatisfied” you may want to ask “Why are you unsatisfied?”
and other related questions.
As another example, we all know that when a phone number field appears on a page,
abandon rates increase. But there are people who want to be called! We can address
this by asking the question “Would you like a rep to call?” and then and only then
have the phone number field appear. This results in more forms being filled out
by people that are scared of giving out their phone number, but still gathering
the phone number when appropriate. We do this on our Contact Us form. Try it!
When a prospect initially sees a fewer number of questions, and is only asked questions
that pertain to them, they are more likely to start and complete the
form, resulting in higher conversions for you. For an example of a Dynamic Form
click on our Contact Us form and answer either the “Areas of Interest” or “Would
you like 4Thought to Call” questions and watch new, appropriate, questions appear.
